Real Time Information (RTI)

From 6 April 2013, HMRC are introducing new legislation that means that employers will be required to submit PAYE information to HMRC each time a payment is made, rather than at the end of the year.

Businesses operating a PAYE Scheme will shortly be receiving a letter from HMRC confirming that the business will have to start submitting PAYE under the new payroll legislation.

It is going to mean a big change to the way you manage your payroll so you need to take action now to ensure sure your business is compliant.

If you currently use HMRC’s free online return and forms PAYE service, you will not be able to use it to report PAYE under RTI.  You will need to find an alternative which is where CJM Bookkeeping Services can help.  We have been working closing with Sage and have been submitting RTI since November 2012.
